Dr. Kent S. Lerner

Kent S. Lerner, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board certified Orthopedic Surgeon, and has been in the private practice since 1983. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons, including county and state medical and orthopedic specialty organizations.

Dr. Lerner is well known in the medical community. He has served on the faculty of the New Jersey Medical School Department of Surgery, which involved teaching and lecturing. He takes great pride in continuing education and remains at the forefront of the latest surgical and nonsurgical techniques in his field.

As a sports medicine physician, Dr. Lerner has worked with a wide spectrum of athletes and sports-related injuries. His experience has provided the injured athlete with treatment options to maximize function and minimize recovery time.

Dr. Lerner’s training and experience in occupational medicine has made him an excellent resource for area corporations, municipalities, and associations for the treatment of work-related injuries. He has been instrumental in developing programs for the prevention and treatment of the injured worker.
